He's been competing in triathlons before anyone even knew what a triathlon or the "Ironman" was.
This blog is written by his daughter, Sarah Cira (his pride and joy) and read by his son, Aaron Smith, and daughter, Molly Woody. (He loves them too!) Oh, did I mention he had 6 beautiful grandchildren: Cole, Logan, Layne Cira and Braylen, Malena and Easton Woody. He also claims 2 son-in-laws: Tom Cira and Josh Woody. We started this blog to keep friends and family updated on his progress and journey back to the starting line.
Since Steve-O is giving his fellow competors a break this season, I'm requesting everyone show your support for him by posting or emailing pictures of yourself supporting "Steve-O" during your race. You can post them to this site directly or email them to me at sarahcira@hotmail.com and I will put them on this blog. He is really touched by all the support and appreciates it very much! Iron-UP!
